Cookie policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Sedessa uses cookies and similar technologies on sedessa.com and on our sales and checkout pages at www.sedessa.com. Please read it together with our Privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a comparable way. They help a site to function, remember your choices and understand how it is used.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site, basket and checkout to work, to show you the right country version and currency, and to keep payments secure.
- Shopify, our store platform: basket and preference cookies such as cart, cart_currency and localization.
- Funnelish, our sales page and checkout platform: session and checkout cookies such as session_id, fnsh.core.cid and fpay_gateway_id, and country cookies such as x-country_code that select the correct version of the page. Details you type into the checkout form may be kept in your browser's local storage so that the form can remember them.
- Stripe, our card payment provider: __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid, which are used to prevent fraud.
- PayPal: sets its own cookies if you choose to pay with PayPal.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use our pages so that we can improve them.
- Shopify analytics: cookies such as _shopify_y and _shopify_s.
- Funnelish analytics: visit and conversion statistics for our sales pages.
- Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and recordings of how visitors scroll, tap and move around our sales pages, so we can see where a page is unclear. We run Clarity with its cookies switched off and with all text on the page masked, so it does not record what you type or read. Microsoft receives your IP address and basic device information in order to provide the service.
Marketing
These measure how our adverts perform and may be used to show you relevant adverts on other platforms.
- Meta Pixel, for Facebook and Instagram: _fbp and, if you arrive from one of our adverts, _fbc. These are kept for up to 90 days.
Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but Google receives your IP address in order to deliver the font files.
Your choices
Where we show a cookie banner, you can accept or decline analytics and marketing cookies there. On sedessa.com you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the page.
You can also block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, including the checkout, may not work properly. To control how Meta uses your information for advertising, visit the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Other companies
Shopify, Funnelish, Stripe, PayPal, Meta, Microsoft and Google each publish their own cookie and privacy information on their websites, which explains how they handle the information they collect.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the cookies we use change, or for legal or operational reasons. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
